Ukraine receives another delivery of Leopard 2 A4 main battle tanks. Rheinmetall announced yesterday that the governments of the Netherlands and Denmark, together with the German federal government, have commissioned the company to process the battle tanks and deliver them to Ukraine. From previous information it is known that the Netherlands and Denmark intend to finance the delivery of 14 Leopard 2 A4 to Ukraine. Approval from the federal government is required for export.
According to Rheinmetall information, the main battle tanks come from the company's stocks, which were acquired from various user states. The order volume is in the low three-digit million euro range.

According to Rheinmetall, it is extensively involved in support services for Ukraine. The company is the only source of supply for supplying the country with larger quantities of new medium and large caliber ammunition of the types 20mm (Marder), 105mm (Leopard 1) and 120mm (Leopard 2). A first batch of 35mm ammunition for Gepard anti-aircraft gun tanks will be delivered shortly.
In the field of combat vehicles, Rheinmetall delivered 20 Marder 1A3s to the Ukraine in the spring, with another 200 to follow later this year. In addition to 26 military trucks, the company's deliveries to Ukraine include Skynex air defense systems, SurveilSPIRE mobile reconnaissance systems, a field hospital and a containerized rescue station.
