§3 Collection of personal data when you visit our website

§4 Kontaktformular

§6 Customer account

(1) If you would like to use certain functions of our website, for example the job exchange to post a job advertisement, you must first create a customer account. All you need is your email address and a password. In the customer account itself, however, you can provide further information, such as entering your billing or delivery address under “Addresses” or your first and last name under “Account details”. We process the data you provide to manage your customer account (user agreement), if necessary also to process your order (e.g. subscription contract) and will not pass this on to third parties in this context. To do this, we can pass on your payment details to our house bank. The legal basis for this is Article 6 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 Letter b GDPR.

Digistore24

We also offer digital products such as subscriptions for purchase via our website. For this we use the service of Digistore24 GmbH, St.-Godehard-Straße 32, 31139 Hildesheim, Germany (“Digistore”). As soon as you click on one of our product buttons, you leave our website and are redirected to Digistore. Digistore becomes the contractual partner of the buyers of services or products and is responsible for processing the buyers’ data. Digimember

To register and carry out our subscriptions on our site, we use the Digimember service from Digital Solutions GmbH, Nevinghoff 16, 48147 Münster (hereinafter “Digimember”). When you register for our subscriber area using the registration form on our website, the data entered will be transferred to Digimember and processed there. We have no knowledge of the type and extent of processing by Digimember. The legal basis for this processing is Article 6 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 Letter b) GDPR.

(2) You can delete all personal data stored about you in your customer account at any time. We will also delete them within 3 months as soon as you have closed your customer account or the user contract has been terminated, unless the following exception applies.

(3) Due to commercial and tax law requirements, we are obliged to store your address, payment and order data for a period of ten years. However, we restrict processing after two years, meaning your data will only be used to comply with legal obligations.

§7 Job exchange

(1) In our job exchange you can find job advertisements or post them as a potential employer. It is not necessary to enter your first or last name in the order form for a job advertisement. However, we collect the email address of the person submitting the request there. There is also a link to the customer account, into which the user may have entered their first and last name. It is therefore not excluded that personal data will also be collected when a job advertisement is placed.

(2) This personal data will only be processed to process the job advertisement and will not be passed on to third parties in this context. The processing takes place on the basis of Art. 6 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 Letter b) GDPR to initiate and process the advertising contract. The data will be deleted within 3 months after the customer account is closed or the contract ends, unless there are statutory retention periods (see Section 6 Paragraph 3).

§8 Use of our subscription form

(1) If you would like to take out a subscription, in order to conclude the contract it is necessary that you provide your personal data, which we need to process your order. Mandatory information required to process the contracts is marked separately; further information is voluntary. We process the data you provide to process your order and for this purpose we may pass it on to an external service provider commissioned for this task. We can also pass on your payment details to our house bank. The legal basis for this is Article 6 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 Letter b or Letter f GDPR.

We can also process the data you provide to inform you about other interesting products from our portfolio or to send you emails with technical information. The legal basis for this is Article 6 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 Letter f GDPR.

This is the case if the processing is not necessary to fulfill a contract with you, which is explained by us in the following description of the functions. If you exercise such an objection, we will ask you to explain the reasons why we should not process your personal data as we do. In the event of your justified objection, we will examine the situation and will either stop or adjust data processing or show you our compelling legitimate reasons on the basis of which we continue processing.

§10 Data security

(1) When visiting our website, we use the common SSL procedure (Secure Socket Layer) in conjunction with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser. This is usually 256 bit encryption. If your browser does not support 256-bit encryption, we will use 128-bit v3 technology instead.
