The Supervisory Board of Hensoldt AG has appointed Oliver Dörre as the company's CEO, presumably from April 1, 2024. He will succeed Thomas Müller, who is retiring at the time. Dörre is scheduled to join the Hensoldt board of directors on January 1 and spend three months preparing for his successor.
Dörre war bis 2010 Berufssoldat, zuletzt als Generalstabsoffizier in der Planungsabteilung des BMVg. Nach verschiedenen Führungspositionen bei Frequentis kam er 2015 zu Thales zunächst als Vizepräsident im Vertrieb. 2021 wurde er CEO und Vorsitzender der Geschäftsführung von Thales Deutschland. Diese Position hat er bis heute inne.
