Der Aufsichtsrat der Hensoldt AG hat Oliver Dörre zum Vorstandsvorsitzenden der Gesellschaft voraussichtlich ab 1. April 2024 bestimmt. Er wird Thomas Müller nachfolgen, der zu dem Zeitpunkt in den Ruhestand tritt. Dörre soll zum 1. Januar in den Vorstand von Hensoldt eintreten und über drei Monate die Nachfolge vorbereiten.
Dörre was a career soldier until 2010, most recently as a general staff officer in the planning department of the BMVg. After various management positions at Frequentis, he joined Thales in 2015, initially as Vice President of Sales. In 2021 he became CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Thales Germany. He holds this position to this day.
