Thales has set up a base in Denmark, from which the first SOTAS communication systems have now been delivered to the Danish armed forces. In 2017, the Danish Defense and Logistic Organization (DALO) and Thales had the supply of SOTAS systems for Danish tracked and wheeled vehicles and services for the systems during operation - combined with technology transfer - from a center in Denmark agreed. The framework agreement has a term of seven years.
Thales' SOTAS communication system is based on a powerful, open architecture that is modular and scalable. The modular components can be assembled into optimal system configurations for all vehicle types and applications.
