Since March 28, EuroTrophy has been responsible for the marketing, sale and production of the modern Active Protection System (APS) "Trophy" for wheeled and tracked armored vehicles, write KMW and Rafael in a press release.
From Frankfurt/Main, the new company Trophy will mainly offer customers from NATO and EU countries. According to KMW, the range of services will also include qualified services for vehicle integration and logistical support for the APS. A technology transfer has been agreed with Rafael that will enable the production of the APS Trophy in Germany.
According to the companies involved, state-of-the-art technology, production, maintenance and on-site service will improve the security of supply for the APS Trophy in Europe.
Die Gründung von EuroTrophy folgt auf die erstmalige Integration von Trophy in einen Kampfpanzer Leopard 2 der Bundeswehr und den anschließenden Lieferauftrag für die Ausstattung von 17 Kampfpanzern Leopard 2. Die Kampfpanzer mit der Versionsbezeichnung Leopard 2 A7A1 sollen nach den bisher bekannten Zeitplänen in den Jahren 2024 und 2025 ausgeliefert werden.
