The Düsseldorf-based defense and automotive group Rheinmetall has agreed on close cooperation with the Greek company Intracom Defense in the area of ​​vehicle-based systems for command, control, communication, computer and intelligence (C4I). As Rheinmetall announced, the companies will coordinate their activities for the joint development and marketing of a vehicle-based C4I system in order to jointly address domestic and international markets.

Rheinmetall Electronics focuses on communication between the vehicle and the management level with management and communication systems, writes Rheinmetall. Intracom Defense brings in its on-board communication systems, which enable crew members to communicate with one another.

As part of the cooperation, the companies want to combine their technological, production and commercial capabilities in order to be able to offer user-friendly and cost-effective C4I solutions with high operational benefit for military vehicles.
