Rheinmetall has divided the Vehicle Systems division into Vehicle Systems Europe (VSE) and Vehicle Systems International (VSI). The divisions are dedicated – as the names suggest – to the markets within and outside of Europe. The previous headquarters in Munich handed over responsibilities to the VSI.

On March 28, Rheinmetall opened the VSI headquarters in Bristol, UK. This first Rheinmetall headquarters outside of Germany will focus on the markets in Great Britain, North America and the Asia-Pacific region, writes Rheinmetall. The aim is to be able to provide even more individualized service to the division's global customers and to promote and expand international cooperation.

According to the Rheinmetall announcement, VSI is in the process of extensive capacity building and will be involved in the British Land Industrial Strategy to promote exports from Great Britain. Building on the Group's investments in the UK, Rheinmetall House includes a Collaboration and Innovation Center (CIC), a unique facility to promote collaboration and innovation. The CIC's topics include the battlefield of the future, testing technologies at Rheinmetall, with customers and in science, as well as enabling future supply chains.

The opening was accompanied by an exhibition with products that may also be of interest to international customers. This includes the future mission module BRIDGE, a digital twin of the Boxer module. According to Rheinmetall, the module shows how partners and customers explore future mission requirements in both the physical and digital domains. Other exhibits included the Caracal Light Utility Vehicle, the Mission Master and LUNA NG.

According to the company, Rheinmetall House provides an established base for the group's UK activities to continue working with our current and future customers.
