Effective October 1, 2023, Andreas Schnautz has been appointed to the Executive Board of Heckler & Koch AG as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). He succeeds Björn Krönert, who will leave the company by mutual agreement on September 30, 2023 after five years of employment, as Heckler & Koch writes in a statement.

Marco Geißinger was also appointed to the board as Chief Sales Officer (CSO) on October 1st. The position was newly created.

Schnautz worked as a finance specialist for, among others, Atlas Elektronik, Hagenuk Marinekommunikation, German Naval Yards and most recently worked as a freelancer.

Geißinger is a long-time manager at Heckler & Koch and most recently reported to CEO Jens Bodo Koch as head of sales.

“The reorganization of the Executive Board is the right response to the increased demands caused by the changing times,” said Rainer Runte, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of H&K AG. “Mr. Dr.-Ing. In the coming years, Jens Bodo Koch will focus on the strategic development of H&K AG as CEO and also further develop the Small Arms Group (US business of H&K AG). “Heckler & Koch hereby shows that after the successful restructuring, the company is now positioning itself organizationally for the coming years,” Runte continued.
