With sales up 5.1 percent to EUR 305.1 million and earnings up sharply by 41 percent to EUR 82 million, Heckler & Koch says it can look back on the strongest year in the company's history. The growth and innovation course taken years ago is thus continuing to bear fruit, said CEO Jens Bodo Koch.

Koch named the M27 infantry rifle and the Squad Designated Marksman Rifles (SDMR) sniper rifle from the USA and the HK416 A8 assault rifle, which will be introduced in the German armed forces as the G95, as important orders.

With financing agreements, the company has laid the financial basis for growth opportunities in the coming years and at the same time created a stable and sustainable balance sheet structure after many years, describes CFO Dr. Bjorn Kronert.

"Triggered by Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine, which violates international law, interest in the security industry in general and demand for our products has increased considerably," says Koch. The management of the company is therefore looking to the future with determination.
