Key elements are emerging for the contract announced by Federal Defense Minister Boris Pistorius for this quarter for the procurement of the 18 Leopard 2 A6 main battle tanks handed over to the Ukraine. For the first time since 1992, the year in which the last German battle tank was built, the Bundeswehr is to receive completely new battle tanks from the mid-2020s.
