Current developments continue to increase the need for long-range combat against high-value, moving targets with little collateral damage. Land Precision Strike (LPS) is a response to the emerging interest, writes MBDA and introduces a Land Precision Fires Family. In addition to the 8×8 boxer with the Brimstone missile in the surface-launched version, this also includes an LPS missile that can be fired from a range of launchers, including the M270 MLRS. As a solution, MBDA proposes an eight-fold launcher in a mission module for the 8×8 boxer. The MARS/MLRS artillery rocket system, among others, is named as a further launch device.

There is no information about the implementation. The concept for the LPS boxer was presented at RSBL a few days ago during the British military exhibition DVD 2022.
