Der Verkauf des Munitionsherstellers RUAG Ammotec an die Beretta Holding ist rechtswirksam abgeschlossen. Wie am 9. März vereinbart, hat der Schweizer Luft- und Raumfahrtkonzern RUAG International Ende Juli die Anteile an den neuen Eigentümer übertragen, wie RUAG mitgeteilt hat. Die Beretta Holding habe Anfang August sämtliche Geschäftsaktivitäten sowie alle Mitarbeitenden an sämtlichen Produktions- und Vertriebsstandorten übernommen.
With the sale of Ammotec, RUAG International is taking an important step on the way to becoming an agile company focused on the space market. The company now consists of the three segments Beyond Gravity (formerly RUAG Space), RUAG Aerostructures and MRO International. The latter also includes RUAG Australia Pty Ltd. A sales agreement was signed for the company with the Australian defense and manufacturing company ASDAM at the beginning of April. The transaction is expected to be completed this year.
