Für die VULCANO 155 mm stehen die Qualifikationstests gemäß dem vereinbarten Programm kurz vor dem Abschluss. Die Kompatibilität zu allen 127 mm und 155 mm Waffensystemen ist sichergestellt.
Die VULCANO 127/155 mm Munitionsfamilie wird bei der italienischen Marine und bei der italienischen Artillerie bereits für operationelle Einsätze erprobt. Damit ist die „Vulcanisierung“ für deren 127 mm Waffenanlagen einschließlich Berechnung der Feuerkommandos und der Programmierung der Munition abgeschlossen.
