The succession to the Bradley infantry fighting vehicle is moving into the next round after the US Army selected two suppliers for Phase 3 of the program to create a detailed design and build prototypes. As the prototype phase began, the Optionally Manned Fighting Vehicle (OMFV) program was renamed the XM30 Mechanized Infantry Combat Vehicle.
