The Bundeswehr receives 43 upgrade kits for setting up digital cabling on the battlefield. The first equipment kits, known as network service squads (NServTrp), were recently delivered to the Bundeswehr, as reported by the Bundeswehr Procurement Office BAAINBw. This will initially equip the forces for the Very High Readiness Joint Task Force (VJTF) in the army. The other devices are intended for comprehensive equipment of the army and the area of cyber and information space. The procurement contract with the manufacturer Leonardo Germany had been concluded eight months earlier.

The BAAINBw writes that the NServTrp are digital-capable cable construction teams that enable the self-sufficient network connection and the creation of your own access networks over distances of up to two kilometers. With the conversion kits, the command posts should be able to be wired and connected quickly and as needed.
