JK Defense & Security GmbH – among other things, the German L3Harris sales partner for AN/PRC-117G radios – has expanded its product portfolio to include satellite communications (SatCom), electronic warfare (electronic combat) and power systems (tactical power supply), according to a representative of the company has confirmed on request. In addition, the company will also sell its portfolio in Switzerland in the future.

According to Felix Wickenhauser, Head of Military Communications at JK Defence, the company based in North Rhine-Westphalia has taken over the entire SatCom division of the US group L3Harris into its portfolio. This also includes SatCom systems, which are intended to enable a secure and reliable connection even in a "congested" or "contested" electromagnetic environment. L3Harris summarizes these robust methods under the generic term “gatekeeper”.

With the Corvus product, it is now also possible to offer ITAR-free EloKa solutions from L3Harris (formerly TRL-Technology) in Germany. According to JK, Corvus is a modular ECM (electronic counter measures) and EA (electronic attack) solution for monitoring and protecting your own forces. With Corvus - which comes in both portable and platform-based solutions - it is possible to monitor or jam the electromagnetic spectrum, also known as spoofing and jamming.

Last but not least, the company has taken over the distribution rights to the energy supply solutions from the US company Galvion. This includes the Galvion Nerve Center, a compact power and data network that can charge power consumers from a wide variety of sources and connects the components of a soldier's system. Pioneering is the Solopack II, a 140Wh battery, which due to its compactness fits in a magazine pouch.
