Fully integrated signals intelligence system Kalaetron Integral

HENSOLDT presented the signals intelligence system (SIGINT) Kalaetron Integral, with which both communication and radar signals can be detected and comprehensively evaluated, to the public for the first time at the Paris Air Show.

With its fully digital concept, Kalaetron Integral detects the transmitters very quickly and in an extremely wide frequency range from 20 MHz to 40 GHz. With automatic resource allocation and software-defined processes, it is not only possible to detect, analyze and monitor the communications and radar signals with a single system, but also to evaluate the relationships between the signals. Kalaetron Integral thus performs tasks for which several specific COMINT and ELINT systems currently have to be used.

Zur Erkennung neuer Bedrohungsmuster aus einer enormen Menge an erfassten Rohdaten kommen dabei KI-Algorithmen (künstliche Intelligenz) zum Einsatz, sodass sich während einer Mission ein elektronisches Lagebild (EOB) erstellen lässt.
