Sweden wants to acquire four Patriot systems (radar, control station) in configuration 3+ with twelve rocket launchers from Raytheon as well as 100 GEM-T and 200 PAC-3 MSE rockets from Lockheed Martin with a total value of around one billion euros. Recently, Romania and Poland became the fifth and sixth nations in Europe to initiate Patriot procurements. The total of 16 Patriot users include the USA, the Netherlands and Germany. After deliveries begin in 2020, the systems should be ready for use from 2025.
