The ATTV was introduced to the Dutch special forces with 75 pieces as Vector. It is based on Defenture's own development GRF 5.12, an air-loadable vehicle that can carry a payload of 1.4 tons with a dead weight of 4.7 tons. A 160 kW diesel engine and an automatic transmission, together with four driven and steered wheels, ensure high mobility off-road. The cabin with up to four seats can be modularly ballistically protected up to Level 1 according to STANAG 4569 - at the expense of the available payload. Air transport is possible in and under the CH-47 Chinook helicopter.
According to Defenture, there is strong international demand for the GRF 5.12, which was developed in close cooperation with the Dutch special operations forces (Korps Commandotroepen).
Germany has ordered up to 80 vehicles based on the Vector in a framework agreement to replace the Serval reconnaissance/combat vehicle for the KSK (ESuTreported). Four have already been delivered for testing and verification purposes. The first 49 vehicles are to be delivered in the three versions AGF 2, AGF2-MK (with automatic cannon) and UFK (support vehicle for the special forces command) in the period 2024 to 2025.
