According to the announcement, Malenke has worked for MBDA since 1997 and in his new role is responsible for programs, products and projects over their entire life cycle - from conception to development, production, integration and logistical support. Malenke was previously, among other things, head of the PATRIOT program and COMLOG managing director and, since 2019, managing director of TDW GmbH, a subsidiary of MBDA Germany.
His predecessor Jürgen Wlodarz started his career as a qualified computer scientist at MBDA Germany in 1985 and has since held management positions in various business areas. From 2018 he headed the Integrated Air Defense division before taking over the Battlefield & German Portfolio division as Programs Director.
