With the V60 Gen II ADP, the Danish communications specialist Invisio presented an advanced control unit on May 8, 2023, which combines several functions - transmission of two radio channels, power and data - in one device and thus contributes significantly to reducing the weight of dismounted combat soldiers.

In Germany, the V60 Gen II ADP will be on display for the first time at the AFCEA trade show, May 10th and 11th in Bonn, at the Imtradex stand – Invisio's German distributor.

According to Invisio, the V60 II ADP is based on the earlier versions of the manufacturer's V series, and it also combines the functionality of a PTT and a hub known from soldier systems. This reduces cables, devices and the complexity of the overall system used by the soldier.

The USB 2.0 hub integrated in the new Invisio control unit is used to distribute data between the connected devices and includes the option of supplying power to mobile end devices (EUD) via the USB PD function (Power Delivery). Thus, EUD devices can be supplied with energy via external power sources - for example, introduced and easily and quickly exchangeable batteries of radio devices.

The integrated digital audio channel also allows you to receive notifications from the Battle Management System, hear EUD voice prompts or receive other digital audio streams.
