With a combination of robust mobile hardware and the VS-NfD-approved "Trusted Disk" hard disk encryption, Rohde & Schwarz Cybersecurity and roda computer are jointly offering a new IT security package for customers from the security and defense technology sector. To this end, the IT security expert Rohde & Schwarz Cybersecurity and the expert for hardened IT and electronics solutions, roda computer, have pooled their skills.
As roda Computer has informed, robust devices are available from the product range of roda and Panasonic, which are certified according to the IP protection classes (IP65) as well as MIL-STD-810G and MIL-STD461G and have temper protection according to the German zone model (BSI ) or the international emission test procedures according to SDIP-27. The hard drive encryption Trusted Disk from Rohde & Schwarz, approved by the BSI in accordance with VS NfD, is used for encryption. According to the information provided, Trusted Disk was developed on the basis of the latest BSI specifications and includes modern random number generation as well as flexible conversion according to time and data volume to constantly maintain the security level.
Neben den Daten werde auch das komplette Betriebssystem und sogar die temporären Dateien verschlüsselt. Dabei arbeite Trusted Disk mit einer transparenten Verschlüsselungsmethode in Echtzeit, welche die Produktivität der Geräte störungsfrei aufrechterhalte.
The new IT security package will be presented by Rohde & Schwarz Cybersecurity and roda computer at the AFCEA trade exhibition from May 11 to 12, 2022.
