Die BWI GmbH, der IT-Dienstleister des Bundes, richtet für die Kommunikations- und anderen elektronischen Anlagen, die für Aufgaben bei der Very High Readiness Joint Task Force der NATO (VJTF) zum Einsatz kommen, eine Testumgebung „grüne IT“ mit gehärteten Fahrzeugrechnern ein. In der Testumgebung sollen die regelmäßigen NATO-Übungen zur Vorbereitung der Truppe für die VJTF, zunächst für 2023, stattfinden.
On the Tenders Electronic Daily (TED) platform, the BWI announced that ATM ComputerSystems GmbH had been awarded the contract to supply the computer equipment for the test environment. Accordingly, the company is to deliver, install, configure and commission 21 different hardware products including peripherals such as cables and switches. Software maintenance services, system support and technical and logistical support are to be agreed for operation. The BWI has given an estimated order value of 975,000 euros. The upper limit for the framework agreement is set at 1.5 million euros.
