The NH90 NTH “Sea Lion” naval helicopter developed by Airbus Helicopters has successfully completed all ground and flight tests (quality tests). The official completion of the approval phase is expected in the first quarter of 2019. The military type certification by the German authorities is due in the second quarter. The commissioning of the "Sea Lion" is scheduled for the end of 2019. The "Sea Lion" should be compatible in the German Navy with the frigates of the "Saxony" class, the "Baden-Württemberg" class, the task force supply ships of the "Berlin" class, the planned multi-purpose combat ship 180 and the Special Forces Navy Command .
