As of September 1st, Luis Alejandro Orellano joined the management of the technology group Rohde & Schwarz as Vice President Technology Systems and heads the corresponding division, as the company announced. He succeeds Bosco Novak, who is retiring at the end of the month.

Until the beginning of 2023, Orellano was in the management of thyssenkrupp Marine Systems for almost five years as Chief Operating Officer, responsible for the areas of production, research & development (R&D), engineering, quality and multi-project management.

After completing his doctorate at the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Munich, he initially worked as a developer at DaimlerChrysler Rail Systems. He then spent more than 17 years at Bombardier driving forward the development of rail vehicles and rail transport at various levels.
