Whoever shoots first and hits better wins
Thomas Heinl
Shooting training in the army is not a new invention, but rather the result of constant adaptation to current conditions, specifications and operational experiences from conflicts around the world. The target is operational soldiers in the army.
TShooting accurately and thus asserting yourself on the battlefield is one of the military's core skills. The shooting training is carried out on the basis of the armed forces' common and branch-specific requirements and specifications. This means that not every soldier has to shoot everything and master all weapons.
Shooting training and combat service are linked - they complement and depend on each other. Proximity to war is the first requirement that is placed on modern shooting training. Shooting training finds its limits in the safety and usage regulations and in applicable law.
