On February 27, 2022, Chancellor Olaf Scholz declared a turning point in the German Bundestag. After a few weeks of optimism, the Bundeswehr has since become sober again. There is now a special fund of 100 billion euros and a Federal Armed Forces Procurement Acceleration Act(s), but not much has happened beyond that.
