Low operational readiness of the NH90 fleet remains a problem

The NH90 is the Army Aviation Corps' tactical transport helicopter. In the future, it will also form the backbone of the naval aviation helicopter fleet. However, since its introduction into the Bundeswehr, regardless of the variant, the helicopter has had to contend with many problems and the resulting lack of operational readiness. Measures were established to increase availability, which Airbus Helicopters is now presenting. The aim is to increase the operational readiness of the NH90 fleets to 50 percent in the coming years.
