It was an impressive demonstration of how Russia crushed the uprising there with its elite troops in Kazakhstan. We have received very little information from Kazakhstan, making it almost impossible to assess the situation. But it didn't happen without bloodshed. It shows that Russia intervenes immediately in the countries that it considers within its sphere of influence if something unforeseeable from Moscow's point of view happens there.
