After the project "Over-snow Vehicles New Generation" (Collaborative All Terrain Vehicle, CATV) was taken into account in the special fund for the German Armed Forces, the procurement process of this vehicle received a fresh and strong impetus.
On December 14, 2022, after parliamentary approval of the 25 million euro proposal, the starting signal for the appointment was given. The required international agreements were signed in December 2022.
The path covered so far in the project has been lengthy and bumpy at times.
