In the last meeting of the past year, the Budget Committee of the German Bundestag approved funds for the procurement of command radio devices with a volume of up to 2.9 billion euros from the Bundeswehr's special fund.

The Bundeswehr wants to procure around 34,000 command radios of various designs as part of the "Digitization Land-based Operations" (D-LBO) armaments program. Of these, 20,000 are to be used to equip the "Division 2025" forces.
