After a multi-year award process in a European competition, the F126 project (formerly MKS 180) reached the most important milestone of its implementation on June 19, 2020, the conclusion of the construction contract with Damen Schelde Naval Shipbuilding BV
The ongoing construction work is currently the focus of the project, which should progress so far that the start of production can take place at the end of 2023 or the keel-laying of the first ship at the beginning of 2024.
