The federal government today approved the 2nd government draft for the 2022 budget as well as the key figures for 2023 and the financial plan up to 2026.Demnach soll der Bundeshaushalt mit 457,6 Milliarden Euro veranschlagt werden. Davon sind 50,3 Milliarden Euro, das sind elf Prozent, für den Einzelplan 14 des Verteidigungsministeriums vorgesehen. Im Pandemie-bedingt aufgeblähten Haushalt 2021 (572,7 Milliarden Euro) lag der Anteil bei knapp 8,2 Prozent.
