Comment: Russia is playing with fire
Rolf Clement
The year 2022 is off to an uncomfortable start in terms of security policy. There has been speculation for weeks about whether Russia sees the deployment of its troops on the Russian-Ukrainian border as a threatening gesture or whether there are actual intentions to intervene. The propaganda of some Kremlin friendsleavesalready to the conclusion that the possibility of an invasion is being tested. There is talk that it would be unacceptable if Ukraine(!) were to occupy the Donbass, after all, it is predominantly Russians who live there. When the facts are twisted like this, you have to be prepared for a lot.
