Air mobility is a key element of the Army. The conduct of operations inAirspace bound to land operations is mostly for success in army operationsvery important.
Tasks and forces of the army pilots
The types of deployment and tasks of the HFlgTr are extensive. A frequent mission is operational-tactical air transport. As a result, personnel, wounded and material/supplies are transported over short and medium distances without connection to fixed landing infrastructure. The NATO Helicopter 90 (NH90) is used in the army, but also for other needs. Support tasks are carried out in the areas of leadership, reconnaissance and search & rescue. Airborne landings are part of airborne operations. In addition to transport aircraft, helicopters are also used to land airborne troops or set them down for parachute jumps.
