The Lithuanian State Border Service (Valstybės sienos apsaugos tarnyba) has selected several variants of the SBS-900 X-band SharpEye long-range radar for remote coastal surveillance. The coast-based radars were specially developed by Hensoldt UK in order to meet the strict operational requirements of port and river transport operators as well as government agencies responsible for the protection of coastal and coastal areas.

In cooperation with the local integrator Telekonta, the mast-mounted SBS-900 was selected to meet the requirements of the Lithuanian border guards for the detection of small targets at long distances. SharpEye does not require an air-conditioned housing for operation, so the costs for system integration and infrastructure are low.
