The French Navy will receive the Lyncea warfare system for six deep-sea patrol ships (Patrouilleur d'Outre-Mer, POM) from 2021. The system is already in use on six deep-sea patrol ships and six surveillance frigates of the Floreal class.

The integrated guidance system Lyncea from Nexeya France, a Hensoldt subsidiary, uses the sensors (including unmanned aerial vehicles) and communication devices available on board to generate a tactical image of the battlefield and keep it up to date. The modular architecture enables the integration of additional devices and thus the use of new capacities and the adaptation to different environments. Decisions can be made using an intuitive graphic interface, distributed via a tactical data connection and weapons can be used immediately.
