On 30 December 2019 the Romanian Ministry of Defense and Iveco Defense Vehicles have signed a framework agreement for the supply of 2900 logistic trucks. The delivery of the first tranche of 942 vehicles will begin later this year.

The frame contract includes four types of high mobility range of 4 × 4, 6 x 6 or 8 x 8 and 8 x 8-drive tractors, which are supplied in a total of 16 variants. About a third of the vehicles is equipped with protected cabins.

The specially developed high mobility trucks are equipped with a multi-fuel diesel engine, central tire pressure control (Central Tire Inflation System, CTIS), blackout lighting and winches for self-recovery. Earlier, Iveco had delivered 57 (2015) and 173 (2017) trucks of this series to Romania.
