On November 1st, Helmut Rauch became CEO and Spokesman for the Board of Management of Diehl Defense and a member of the Board of Directors of the Diehl Group. He took over the tasks of Claus Günther, who left the company due to age.
Rauch studied electrical engineering in Stuttgart, became an employee of Diehl Defense in 1990 and has been a member of the management and divisional board of Diehl Defense since 2011. Responsible for strategy, sales and the business units, he shares the management with Thomas Bodenmüller (finance, administration, human resources) and Frank Kienzler (development, production, supply chain management), who was newly appointed to the board.
Rauch ist unter anderem Mitglied im Präsidium des Bundesverbandes der Deutschen Luft- und Raumfahrtindustrie sowie Mitglied im Vorstand Forum Luft- und Raumfahrt Baden-Württemberg e.V.
