From 20 to 26 July 2019, the 7th Army Training Command of the US Army hosted the European Best Sniper Team Competition in Grafenwoehr. 30 teams from 16 nations took part in order to compete in various disciplines. The team of snipers inspection of the training center of infantry from Hammelburg finished doing an excellent third place. The winner was a team of the French Foreign Legion before a Czech team.

The five days long competition presented the participants from Belgium, Denmark, Germany, France, Britain, Italy, Canada, Latvia, Netherlands, Poland, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Czech Republic, Turkey and the USA with 30 individual stations both before physical and mental challenges. were tested shooting performance with the sniper rifle, the semi-automatic sniper rifle, the standard weapon and gun. Targets up to 700 yards away had to be fought. This was done by the shooting frame, with partner support, freehand, from buildings and even the dinghy - and partly under time pressure. Needed time and hit power counted. When powered by the Latvian Armed Forces Station "Field Fire" sniper and spotter free fight in a building under high time pressure their way to the last position. Then they had taken from the building out educate and fight an ultimate goal through a "loophole". In addition to the shooting disciplines orientation were in the field, self and buddy aid and other disciplines in focus. It was on one of the hitherto heißesten days of the German summer 2019, a twelve-mile march luggage was to be completed with all equipment. For over 30 degrees Celsius, the participants marched 19 km forced march. In addition to 16 kilos of luggage also weapon and water were carried. Luggage Running joined as the last discipline of the "Cold Bore Shot", a shooting at targets in more than half a mile away, which had to fight with Erstschusstreffern.

In addition to the competition itself, the targeted annual event the experience of "Sniper community" as well as the contacts and improving interoperability serves. Thus, as part of the "Friendship Shoot" the opportunity to try your hand weapons of the other teams.
