The Czech Defense Ministry has ordered for around 258 million euros 62 multipurpose armored vehicles Titus (Tactical Infantry Transport & Utility System), which are manufactured by Nexter in cooperation with the Czech company Eldis Pardubice.

The order includes 42 vehicles for command and liaison tasks and 20 vehicles for the fire control of artillery fire, including technical support for five years.

Titus is designed by Nexter for support and transportation tasks and offers a high level of protection, mobility and flexibility. The protected cabin with room for up to 13 people was built by Nexter on a chassis of Tatra. A 370 kW Cummins diesel engine accelerates the Titus to up to 110 km / h.

After Tatra did not come for security reasons as co-producer in the Czech Republic questioned Eldis Pardubice is involved in the production of vehicles and takes over the delivery. It is planned that the vehicles will be delivered between 2020 and 2025 the troupe.
