Saab has received an order for the RBS15 Mk3 missile defense system from its German partner Diehl Defense. Deliveries will take place between 2019 and 2024. The order contains the necessary infrastructure to equip the ships with the RBS15 rockets.
The German Navy recently decided to buy additional K130-class corvettes. The contractor is a German consortium of three shipyards named ARGE K-130.
RBS15 is produced jointly by Saab and Diehl Defense GmbH & Co and is used by the armed forces from Sweden, Finland, Germany, Poland, Croatia, Thailand and another undisclosed country.
